2022 Winterize Procedure - 1995 C320 no. 208

1. Get Started
In early October review my Winterize procedures and check list. Check air temperatures for November.
Start winterizing before Halloween. Oil & filter then holding tank & fresh water systems.
Buy fuel, oil and anti-freeze in advance and start bringing to the boat.
Purchase AF from WM in advance and store in the garage. WM has AF sale in November?
Plan on feeling cold. 50º feels cold. Bring a Winter Jacket, Hat & Gloves. Wear my Coveralls!
It gets cold at night in early November, 30ºF. Frost early morning on the car and on the pier.
Get up early! Easier working on the boat in the daylight! It gets dark early in November.

November 2021 used 24 gallons Anti-Freeze 19 gal. For C320 + 2 for Clipper + 4 left = 24 gallons.

(6) -60 AF for fresh water system
(1) -50 AF in hot water tank.
(2) -60 AF toilet ‘wet’ fills bowl & SV.
(1) -50 AF to anchor locker & pump
(2) -200 AF M30 Raw Water & Sea Valve
(1) -50 AF CL bilge & Rule 1000 pump
(1) -50 AF galley & holding tank bilge
(1) -60 AF shower sump & Sea Valve
(1) -50F AF vanity sink drain & Sea Valve
(1) -50 AF galley sink drain & Sea Valve.
(2) -100 AF left onboard
(1) -50 pink AF left onboard
(2) -60 AF used to winterize the Clipper

Winterize Jigs in the plastic box:
1. Hurth gear box ATF vinyl hose & stiff PVC tube.
2. M30 diesel oil drain hose & threaded nipple.
3. M30 raw water 1”OD x 3/4” ID vinyl hose.
4. City transom water vinyl hose 1”OD x 3/4” ID.
5. Hot Water tank green garden hose attach to drain reaches CL bilge.
6. Hot Water tank hand pump AF connection with 2’ of 15mm blue tube.
7. Raw Water to toilet, holding tank 1”OD x 3/4"ID vinyl tube threaded female fittings.
8. 50/50 coolant drain tube
9. Jabsco 17215-00 drill pump jig assembly for electric drill.
10. Wood dowel duct tape to ShopVac hose to reach bottom of water tank
Whale pipe fittings / 15mm tube / red trace reinforced Hose / 5/16” pipe clamps
3/8” OD x 1/4” ID tube fits over Indirect Coolant (50/50) drain pet cock on M30.
1/2” OD x 3/8” ID tube fits over ‘3/8”x1/4” adapter barb MIP’ for oil change drain.
5/8" OD x 1/2" ID tube
3/4” OD x 5/8” ID tube fits Copper pipe, Jabsco Brass hand pump, City Water Transom black elbow.
1” OD x 3/4” ID vinyl tube
Oil change plug - 3/8” wrench. Gear box dip stick - 11/16" / 17mm Socket with extension.
Oil change Adaptor - 9/16” wrench / 14 mm
Aqua Muffler drain - 9/16”. 5/16” Socket handle for pipe clamps
