Our Bronze strut failed and it was going to take too long for the foundry to manufacture a new one. The shipyard produced a new one our of G10. Will never have a galvanic corrosion problem! The failed bronze shaft is on the right and the new manufactured parts are on the left. A new cutlass bearing is center bottom.
