Wheres the vent tube. I had squeks comming from mine unit had a short capped off vent tube, until I routed the vent tube to the aft and up the hatch wall to above the water line, now at low speed no noise or heat.
Note: My photo is on the 4th page in Tech Photos section. Maybe your tube didn't extend as far into the boat.
This looks different than mine (see elsewhere in this section). How far does the bellows go over the prop tube? PYI recommended that the tube NOT extend into the bellows.

PSS Shaft Seal & Doughnut zinc to back up the SS Collar. The Zinc will provides an easy leverage point for adjusting the PSS while the boat's in the water.
