I added a Standard Horizon GX1600 VHF radio, $170 from Fisheries Supply. It is a Class D DSC unit that displays lat/lon, course and speed via NMEA connection. You also see the beginnings of my NMEA 2000 backbone plus a DC receptacle with one cigarette lighter plug and a double USB plug, $21.28 at Fisheries Supply.
